Israel must surely have the highest density of memorials per square kilometer in the world. Even in the Negev desert there is no shortage. Not too far north of Eilat we stopped to see the Chanan Calev and Pesach Mylan Memorial. These two men were accompanying students from the Herzliya Gymnasia high school on a bus tour. The bus hit a mine and the two were killed, with four students being injured. Read more (in Hebrew) about these men at:
