The new suburb of Miashkafayim in Ramat Beit Shemesh has seen ongoing construction for a number of years now. It still has the flavor of development, particularly on its outskirts. Two elements which struck me as I walked part of its perimeter were the abundance of thistles which survived the surrounding activity, and the presence of construction vehicles.
I felt what I saw could be best expressed in black and white. Some of the shots are looking inwards towards the dwellings, others are looking outwards.
