Acquiring Photographs

Use of the photographs from this site needs to be licensed.

Photograph licenses are available for free, or purchase at varying costs, depending on the type of photograph and the intended use (licensing).

Counter-intuitively, free photos have a "Buy" tab option enabling purchase for "free". 

For all other photo licensing, please send an email to [email protected] with details of which picture(s) you want and for what purpose.

All photographs are distributed clean of watermark. 

Free Photos

The files of some photos are free. We are constantly expanding the range of free photos offered, and indicating in the caption of Collections and Groups, that free photos are contained within.

Free photos need to be "bought" -- for the price of 0. The purchase process terminates with a download link being sent to the purchaser. Licensing is automatic with "purchase"--no action other than download is required.

These photos are for personal use only.

Buy Option

The Buy option for a single photo is found in the top left menu for that photo.

Licensing

It is encumbent upon the purchaser to specify the correct license for their intended use of the photo download.

Unlicensed or underlicensed use of photos is liable to court action or compensation to the value of five times the shortfall in licensing dues.
